Tide gauge location
A GRP cabinet houses the tide gauge equipment which consists of a POL data logger and a 3 channel bubbler system. Pneumatic tubes run down the jetty and the pressure points are fixed to the jetty wall.
The tide gauge is levelled to the tide gauge bench mark supported by Ordnance Survey auxiliary marks.
